In conjunction with the International Women's Day 2021, SAWO has organised the first-ever IWD Virtual Rally on 8th March 2021. This iconic and historical event had at least 80 zoom participants and 547 Facebook viewers, including nine political parties across from both the oppositions and government political parties who came together to support more women representatives in the Sabah Legislative Assembly.

On 11th October 2020, SAWO and Rakyat Is Bos held the first ever online demonstration in the country as a platform for the public to voice out their opinions and disappointments on the dismal presence of women in the Legislative Assembly after the 16th State Election. The demonstration was held on Zoom with 155 participants and livestreamed on Facebook Live with 1.7 K views.

A Pow Wow discussion on Gender was facilitated by SAWO EXCO Christyne and Dr. Easwary in the SAWO Centre. The participants discussed about how traditional gender roles and stereotypes were implanted into their mindset since childhood. The participants also agreed that individuals should not be divided according to societal expectations, instead freely decide on their own what their gender role is.

SAWO Sundays
Sawo Sundays was an online open discussion and sharing session held every Sunday. Two sessions were held, both centered around the topic of boundaries and consent. Those who participated contributed to the passionate discussions and shared many of their experiences related to these two topics.
